Josh Hart Lost A 3-Point Contest To JJ Redick's 8-Year-Old Son

Life is good for the New York Knicks right now. The 5-seed in the East leads their first round playoff series 3-1 over the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Tom Thibodeau's squad is just one win away from New York's first playoff series win since 2013.

SG Josh Hart is one of the players who has been solid for the Knicks in this series, and the VIllanova product is having some fun in the process...

The only thing wrong with Josh Hart's game right now is a certain challenge that took place a few weeks ago in Brooklyn, and it involves JJ Redick's 8-year-old son, Knox. The two shooters went head-to-head in a 3-point contest, taking a pair of shots from each of the five traditional spots. The full video is at the top of this blog and can be found here, too...

I'll say this: It is a VERY good thing that Hart and the Knicks are playing well right now. Because if he and the team were struggling on the court, the jokes would have written themselves.

Luckily, that is not the case, and this video is a nice and quick, entertaining contest. Good on Josh Hart for allowing this to be released, given that the media (especially the New York media) could have taken a different approach here. All in good fun.
