Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik are taking on new game show roles — this time as contestants.
The “Jeopardy!” hosts will be competing against each other on rival game show “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” May 10.
Joining them in the contestant spot will be “Wheel of Fortune” co-host Vanna White, who will be a contestant for the first time “calling letters instead of revealing them,” ABC said.
The much-anticipated crossover will air on ABC at 9 p.m. following the “Jeopardy! Masters” tournament, which will see the return of some of the game’s top contestants, including Amy Schneider, Matt Amodio, Mattea Roach, Andrew He, Sam Buttrey and James Holzhauer.
You either grew up a Jeopardy house or a Wheel of Fortune house. I imagine everyone watched both, but you are lying if you didn't have one that ran supreme in your house. In my house it was Jeopardy. My dad watched Jeopardy every night, taught us about the game, how the categories had certain ways to answer, and made it a point to teach us something for as many questions as he could. Wheel of Fortune would come on and my Dad would literally say that the people on the show were so unintelligent that it had to be fake. Couldn't understand the strategy (if they had any at all), couldn't understand how they didn't understand the puzzle answer as fast as he could, and really just couldn't understand the stupidity of the people. It was engrained in us that Wheel of Fortune was a stupid show.
Which is why I cannot believe that Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik have to go on this show. It's an insult to their intelligence. It's like Warren Buffett having to take a business entry level class at Wagner College. It's like Adele having to go to singing lessons. This is moronic. Two super smart people going on a show made for idiots ? Please. Absolute insult to their intelligence. Now I get it, I get why they have to do it. Company men and company women. It makes sense to cross promote shows, and I'm sure they will have fun on it, but this is disgusting that these two have to go on a show of idiots.
It's also dumb to put both of them on the episode together, because no disrespect to Vanna White but she has ZERO chance to win this game. ZERO. She will be lucky to get a dollar on the board. Especially if she is in the 3rd slot. Ken and Mayim will get every letter and likely solve this puzzle before Vanna even blinks. That's besides the point, we all know either or them will win, I think it's asinine they even have to do this show. Look at some of the dummies on this show and tell me two smart people should have to do it.
I'll put a guarantee on this. Ken or Mayim will win this episode ... ZERO ZERO doubt they lose. If they do I will be stunned. Also, they shouldn't have to do it because it's a show for idiots.
