For Some Reason Dejounte Murray Thought It Was A Good Idea To Go After An Official Immediately Following The Hawks Game 4 Loss

Big win for the Celts tonight to take their 3-1 lead over the Hawks, but we'll talk all about that tomorrow. I'm just going to warn you now, it's going to be extremely erotic given the amount of Celtics porn we witnessed. Just do what you have to do to be prepared. The Jays, Smart, Rob, Derrick, Joe, the whole gang showed up and more.

In the meantime, let's focus on that Game 5 and who may or may not be available on the Atlanta side

Uhhhhhh I'm pretty sure you can't do that. I'm not exactly sure what Dejounte Murray was thinking other than maybe he wasn't thinking at all. I imagine he's upset about some no calls or something along those lines, despite the fact that the Hawks took 24 FTA. Murray only took one, so that's probably what he's talking about in that clip.

Unfortunately, making contact and going after an official like that seems to be a fairly big no-no for the league

At this point, who the hell knows what gets you suspended in the NBA anymore, but that seems pretty clear cut to me. Dejounte hunts out an official, gets in his face, makes contact, and then continues to talk shit as he walks off the floor. I know Adam Silver doesn't always have a pulse, but this feels like a layup. You can't have players hunting out officials after the game I'm afraid. It wouldn't shock me one bit if the league makes Murray watch Game 5 from his couch, and if they do he has no one else but himself to blame. I get falling behind 3-1 is tough, but the Hawks did not lose this game because of the officiating. They spent 9 minutes of the 4th quarter in the goddamn bonus.

I'm not sure it will matter much seeing as how this serious should wrap up Tuesday no matter who the Hawks throw out there. They finally didn't have the best playoff shooting performance in franchise history like we saw in Game 3 and the result went right back to what we saw this entire series. Now they might have to try and get a win without arguably their best player this series.

That's tough.
