According To Zach Lowe The Warriors Are Upset Because They Claim Domantas Sabonis Is "Using The Ball As A Weapon" On Offense

Listen, I understand I am not the most unbiased person when it comes to anything Warriors related. I get it. We all know what happened last summer.

Having said that, I mean what are we doing. Seriously, what are we doing?

I had to double check that tweet to make sure it was real. I didn't hear the quote so I'm allowing for there to be some additional context that might help explain it, but Zach Lowe isn't exactly one to make things up which tells me he heard from either someone with the Warriors or close to the Warriors that this was a thing.

As I blogged earlier, there are some legit gripes that would make sense for the Warriors to have. Sabonis does push in the back on OREBs, sorry Kings fans, he does. But playing with his elbows out? Like what, on rebounds in an effort to clear space after getting the ball? OK? Welcome to the playoffs? In basketball, if you wack someone with your elbow like that, they call a foul. Very weird thing to complain about.

But I'm sorry…

"using the ball as a weapon on offense"

is so laughably pathetic it's why I initially thought this wasn't real. What exactly does that even mean? I watched both games and I didn't exactly see Sabonis go all Billy Madison or anything

I mean I'm sorry, but this is some of the saddist shit I've ever heard if it's truly how the Warriors feel. Down 0-2 and this is what they do? Cry like this? They're the defending champs! They have Steph Curry!

Again, all this stuff coming from the same team that gives you this

who thrives off illegal screens is what makes this all so sweet. My guess is nobody in the Warriors organization has any issues with that right?

If this came from anyone else, we would all say the same thing. It's soft as hell. Maybe figure out how to play defense and handle the Kings' pace as opposed to crying that Sabonis is using the basketball as a weapon? The Warriors better be careful or they are going to overdose on copium. I can't remember a team this accomplished start to cry like this the second they got down 0-2 in a series. It's not over! Win your home games where you're 31-10 and everything is still on the table!

I get being upset Draymond got suspended, even if you should really be upset he keeps putting himself in these types of situations. But this? This is taking things a little too far. Just man up and beat the Kings and stop crying about stuff that isn't even real.
