Kings Fans Sure Look Ready To End Their 17 Year Playoff Drought

Talk about things you love to see. All these years, all the bullshit that Kings fans had to live through from shitty teams, embarrassing front office decisions, the team almost moving, David Stern screwing them over, what a great day this must be for that city and those fans. The ones who stuck by this team through the lowest of the lows now get to experience the highs of postseason basketball. That's very cool to see and you know the energy in that building is going to be electric. That's already a tough building to play in, now you get to add 17 years of frustration into the mix. If the Kings get off to a hot start, the place may explode.

The one downside though is the fact that the literal devil is on the other side. Steph Curry doesn't give a shit that the Kings are snapping a 17 year streak tonight. Steph is one of if not the most terrifying basketball player on the planet, especially this time of year. Now that the Kings finally made it, I'm hoping they are able to stick around for a while and we have a competitive series. Or if they want to just win in 4 I won't complain about that either.  The point is, when your reward for ending your streak is a healthy and motivated Steph Curry, that's a dangerous game.

But as someone who believes in the power of The Beam, I think the Kings can do it. Their offense is legit. They thrive in clutch time games, and this Warriors team struggles on the road. Just ride that home momentum and make sure you take care of the basketball and you'll be fine.
