Today's Wild Ass Match Means Ryan Reynolds And Rob McElhenney Are One Step Closer To Completing The Coolest Story In All Of Sports

Today was one of the biggest matches for Wrexham under the Reynolds/Mac regime. Why? Because they played Notts County, the club they were tied with at the top of the table. Remember for National League, the outright winner of the regular season gets automatically promoted. Well, we had a ridiculous match added by a game-saving tie off a PK in stoppage time:

Now we know they have Wrexham winning. That was basically always the case since they took over the club, losing out on promotion in the playoffs last year. But here they are, 3 clear of Notts County with a game in hand. But it's more than that. They are making everything cool as shit. Right before this match it was announced that Reynolds bought a home in Wrexham:

You also had Reynolds and Mac be presented with an award:

I thought the show Welcome to Wrexham was awesome. It gave a great insight to the fans of the club and the whole background. Obviously people aren't really up to date on a lot of Welsh soccer clubs. But it's worth watching. It shows how they bought it, tells you stories about the players, etc. Easy show to knock out.

Unreal match. I hope Wrexham keeps getting promoted. Fuck it. I want to see Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in the Premier League. Long way to go? Sure. But why the hell not? Who cares how much money they are spending, that's whole point of being an owner. Win. I'm jealous my owners don't spend like that - looking at you Angelos family. 4 matches left, up 3 points on Notts County now. Finish.
