Dutch Dude Takes Matters Into His Own Hands And Drives His Scooter Onto Soccer Field Mid-Match To Protest Fans Setting Off Fireworks

[Source] - Dutch side Veenhuizen were level with relegation rivals Vitesse '63 when the angry local rode his scooter on to the turf.

He confronted home coaches in their dugout, then drove into the centre circle to harangue players before riding off.

The man was reportedly angry that fireworks let off by young football fans before kick-off had frightened his horse.

"We know the neighbour.  He played for us in his youth.

"We will talk with him.  I think he acted out of emotion.

I love this guy. We're talking about some low level soccer here and the man is fed up. He's worried about his horse! He could have just posted something on social media or left a mean review or something stupid like that. Nope. He said enough is enough with the damn fireworks and it's time to bring out his scooter. Didn't even bother walking over. Had to be more effective and get there quicker.

Even better that this dude played for them when he was young. He knows they suck. He's worried about his horse. Plus, fireworks are annoying as shit. Light them off on the 4th of July and that's it. I get you want to support the team, but maybe wait until they are relevant to move up to fireworks. Start with something easy like cheers. Maybe some songs.

I understand the counterargument here. He shouldn't live next to a stadium. Fair. But, again, the team stinks out loud. I respect a man who is willing to take matters into his own hands and hop on his finest scooter to interrupt a match. A+ security here. Not exactly sure how a scooter makes its way onto the field, but I have no choice but to respect the move.
