This Backflip Catch In The Savannah Bananas' Game May Be The Most Impressive Thing I've Ever Seen Happen In Sports

Savannah Bananas baseball is BACK in a big way baby. Their season kicked off a few days back and we've already had line dances, balls on fire, fat Johnny Damon in the lineup, but this catch legit took my breath away.

This isn't just one of their gimmicks or tricks, this is legit the most impressive thing I've ever seen in any athletic competition. Outfielder David Meadows camped under this ball like it was a regular can of corn and then sent us on a wild ride. He pulled off an incredible backflip catch with ease.

I mean that was flawless. I've never seen something that smooth. How do you practice this without cracking your skull open? How are you able to focus on trying to not only catch the ball, but not snapping your neck while pulling off a backflip? I used to think Doc Ellis throwing the no-hitter on acid was the most impressive feat in sports, but this has taken the crown. Just a casual backflip for the third out followed by a griddy.

I'm so happy Banana ball is back for shit like this, it's much watch stuff every night. Never know if you'll see a guy throwing a ball that is quite literally on fire or have a guy actually backflip to make a catch. Just incredible.
