Under The Radar Big Game Prop Bets From A Philadelphia Eagles Savant

Giphy Images.

Am I Philadelphia Eagles savant? Some say maybe. Many say "Go fuck yourself, Blockdick". To each their own. Here's an excerpt from "A Life Long Philadelphia Fan's Perspective On Andy Reid"

I've always said you can tell a lot about somebody based on their chosen "Niche" category on The Dozen. And rightfully so. It's a high pressure question with all eyes to see if you're truly an expert in the subject of your choosing. Kirk is naturally a big time golf guy whose admiration for Freddie Couples is totally normal. Eddie and Clem are big boys who know and enjoy their snacks. White Sox Dave chooses whatever category his hooves are able to Google the quickest.

Me? My Dozen "Niche" (besides the Phillies and one-off Jaws question so difficult that Speilberg himself wouldn't have been able to answer) is the Philadelphia Eagles.

All I know is I shamelessly know more about this franchise than I know about my immediate family. And it is my honor, nay, duty to provide the best possible ways for people to make straight cash homie off my dignity, or lack thereof. SACK LUNCH

Specifically 3 sack props to drop.

The 1984 Bears hold the all-time team sack record with 172. The 2022 Eagles have 170. Sure, 16 game season vs. 17. But who cares? This defense EATS. They're the only team in NFL history with 4 players to have over 10+ sacks on the season - Reddick, Graham, Sweat, and Hargrave. It's actually incredible. Not to mention they get it done with one of the lowest blitz rates in the league, which makes it even more incredible. The Eagles getting over 2.5 sacks is quite the lovely proposition.

Total Sacks by Eagles o2.5 -125

Also, while I believe this Eagles offensive line is one of the best we've ever seen, Jalen Hurts is not infallible to being taken down behind the line of scrimmage. The Birds might get 6 sacks on their own but don't discount the Chiefs from getting a few slices in the sack pie. And at + money, too? Love it.

Total Sacks o5.5 +112

And the favorite sack play of the day:

Player to record most sacks Brandon Graham +1100

AARP worthy Brandon Graham who was drafted instead of Earl Thomas during Obama's FIRST TERM. The longest tenured Eagle joined the Birds in 2010 and will go down, albeit after a slow first few years, as an all-time great. And you know what? He's still got it. Graham is one of those 4 Eagles defenders to record 10+ sacks on the season with 11. Shit, he busted out a 3 piece during a single game earlier this year. Reddick is at +300 followed by Jones at +500, but Graham's value is very, very spicy here. 1 and 1/2 sacks could lock it down. Num num.

REMEMBERING JEFF FEAGLES SPECIAL

Do you remember Jeff Feagles? Me neither. But I do love the under for 4th down bootage in this game. Both teams obviously have great offenses but also like to sack up in the short yardage. I mean, Sugar Sack Siriani went for it on 4th and 1 from his own 30 yard line in the NFC Championship.

Smitty Stats Special: Highest Scoring Quarter

Earlier in the season it became obvious the Eagles were doing very, very well in the 2nd quarter. And for good reason. The massacres during minutes 15 thru 30 of gameplay started to become historic and really didn't let up all year (aside from the Minshew starts and the final game of the season). The Birds averaged a NFL best 12.4 points in the 2nd quarter in 2022. The Chiefs? They ranked third at 10.1 points. Not too shabby of a play if you ask reality.

Highest Scoring Quarter: 2nd +170

And my own personal favorite…

SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT THE HELL I'M MISSING WHY DOES THIS PROP EXIST AT THESE ODDS OF A LIFETIME:

I'm going a bit cuckoo over this one. Right now the prop for "Over Total Number Of Coaches' Challenges" is at 1.5…at +240 (down from +250).

Not "Coaches Challenges Won". Just "Challenged". Somebody please explain this to me like I'm a 4-year-old. I get that there may be more "Official" reviews since a zillion people are watching and the NFL doesn't want their refs to be embarrassed…but I still don't get it. It's the Super Bowl. You can't carry your challenges into the next season. Logically speaking, coaches are going to throw the red flag on a huge, close play whether they want to or not because the stakes are enormous.

The biggest plus factor in this is the Andy Reid effect. Just like timeouts and tacos, Big Red runs thru challenges in the most unusual of settings. Just last week Reid threw out the red flag on a ball that was clearly dropped by Toney…IN THE FIRST QUARTER. Not to mention Sirianni is pretty quick on the passionate "Fuck You Ref" pull of the challenge flag on close plays, too. I'd be leaning towards o1.5 at around even money. But +240??? Thank you very little.

TOTAL NUMBER OF COACHES' CHALLENGES INCLUDING OVERTIME: o1.5 +240

Other not so under the radar plays I prefer and will be RESPONSIBLY playing are:

Eagles ML -121 (obviously)

Eagles -5.5 +170

Mahomes o.5 INT -110

Mahomes o1.5 INT +400

Eagles TT o25.5 -117

Hurts TD -118

AJ Brown o5.5 rec +110

Hassan Reddick MVP +3000

CJ Gardner Johnson MVP +8000

And our boosted Bet w/ Barstool Philly +1776 boosted bet (which should be up very soon) - Eagles ML/Hurts TD/AJ Brown TD/AJ Brown o99.9 rec yards.

Obviously those latter bets feature more homer-ish logic than actual facts/stats. My response? Blow me. Consensually. Go Birds.
