Jim Boeheim Was A Complete Asshole After Losing A Close Game (Again), Reminds Everyone That Syracuse Will Be Irrelevant Until He Retires

I've been on this Jim Boeheim needs to get away from Syracuse take for a few years now. To the point where Syracuse fans just assumed I hated him. But now it's the majority take. Now it's just logical. This man can't keep coaching Syracuse. First off, they aren't good. They haven't been good in years. I'm talking Syracuse good. I'm talking not somehow being on the bubble and making a run in the NCAA Tournament. I'm talking fighting for a top seed, relevant for the entire season. Last time that happened? 2013-14 season. 

Now back to last night. This is a normal, perfectly fine question. Benny Williams missed last night's game at home against Virginia. This is a guy who has started 20 games so far this season. He's putting up just 7 and 4 per game, but he's a starter who adds some size and depth to the team. Pretty normal question! 

Instead Boeheim does what Boeheim does. Turn into this nose picking old ass curmudgeon who thinks he's smarter than everyone else and refuses to give any sort of answer. A personal day? Fine. Who knows what that means, but that's all you have to say. Going off on whether it's a good question? Fuck off dude. It's what a bunch of people were wondering. Plus, not like you'd answer what went wrong with the game.  

So, yeah. Is Boeheim a legend at Syracuse? Of course. But the time is up. You gotta move on from him unless you want the same shit over and over and over again. That's where Syracuse is right now. Playing in the wrong conference, not winning games, not landing top recruits, wasting talent like Judah Mintz. Get someone new there and try to become relevant again.
