Just Another Day Of James Dolan: He's Now Threatening To Shut Down Alcohol Sales During A Rangers Game Over Facial Recognition Feud

[Source] - Owner James Dolan is threatening to pick a night at the Garden, possibly a Rangers game, to shut down alcohol sales in response to the New York State Liquor Authority allegedly coming after Dolan about his facial recognition technology that has resulted in bans against lawyers suing him.

“They’re being extremely aggressive and they’re saying, ‘We’re gonna take away your liquor license,’ ” Dolan said of the SLA during an appearance on “Good Day New York” on Fox 5. “So I have a little surprise for ‘em. They’re basically doing this for publicity, so we’re gonna give ‘em some publicity. What we’re gonna do, right, is we’re gonna pick a night, maybe a Rangers game, and we’re gonna shut down all the liquor and alcohol in the building. This isn’t gonna bother me because I’ve been sober 29 years. I don’t need the liquor.”

Just can't go a day without Dolan being an idiot. You may remember Rico's story on this:

And now he's bringing it to the point of threatening to stop alcohol sales during a Rangers game. I know I'm not a hockey guy, but I've been to enough games to know hockey fans fucking love having a beer. Good luck with that. You're going to deprive these people of having beer because of a public feud with facial recognition technology. Why can't this man just be normal? Why can't he be an average owner - you know, a guy who just sits back, cuts the check and tries to win? I say this as a Knicks fan who has lived through hell because of him.

How about the balls to say because you're 29 years sober, you don't need the alcohol sales. Sure, good on you for being sober, but other people like beer! Also, why did he just pick a Rangers game? I assume the Knicks would draw more news. He's probably trying to hide it while looking strong - much like his old free agent signings.

I wonder what the record is for most people kicked out of an arena, because it's going to happen if there's a Rangers game without alcohol sales. People will revolt and there might be 8 people left in the stands. Please sell the Knicks.
