"You played against my dad..." The Fact LeBron Is Speeding Past Former Opponent's Kids While In The Fast Lane Towards The All-Time Scoring Title Is Pure Insanity

Jabari Smith Jr. - You played against my dad your first NBA game ever.

LBJ - Really?

JS Jr - Sacramento...

LBJ - Why you do that to me?

Hilarious. And also quite depressing.

I'm the same age as LeBron and my knee swells up like a balloon and I can't walk right for three days if I sit on the shitter for too long. This dude is playing against former opponent's offspring. And dropping a light 48 on them. During a victory. On the second night of a back-to-back. IN HIS 20TH SEASON IN THE ASSOCIATION.

No big deal.

We all knew LeBron would get the all-time NBA scoring title and we all figured it would be some time this season. But I don't think anyone thought he would get there by early February.

LBJ needs just 316 points to pass Kareem and stand alone atop the NBA scoring mountain. He's currently averaging 29.7 ppg. Depending on him taking a night off, he should break the record at home on Feb 7th against OKC or on Feb 9th against Milwaukee.

The Lakers are four games under .500 and 1.5 games back of the final play-in spot in the west but neither of those things diminishes what he is accomplishing this late into his unicorn career. It's definitely easy to hate on the flopping and the lying and the arrogance. But the longevity and production is undeniable.

We will never see another career like LeBron's ever again in the NBA. Period.

The human body isn't made to play this long against physical freaks like he has. For a point of reference, Jabari Smith Jr. was born on May 3rd, 2003. At that point LeBron had already won state titles in High School, been on the cover of Sports Illustrated, battled with Carmelo Anthony on national TV, and been embroiled in a scandal with the OHSAA for his mom getting a Hummer SUV.

Since that moment, Jabari Smith Jr. has grown up, played basketball in college at Auburn, was taken 3rd overall in the NBA draft, AND LEBRON STILL OUTSCORED HIM BY 34 POINTS.

And he still has it in more ways than just basketball. The guy has built a media empire with Bron Studios, his shoes still sell like crazy, and has a bunch of other successful business ventures off the court. More impressive than all that though, he still has court side clout chasers hunting him down on a nightly basis.

Just look at the way this chick is eyeing him down. Reminds me of Rihanna and Beyonce willing to risk it all for a shot at the King's royal scepter.

So you can love him or hate him but he is about to be the greatest scorer in NBA history in just a few short weeks.

I remember a dude I knew in California telling me he would be out of the NBA in five seasons when he got drafted. I swear on everything that guy is now retired from Verizon and LeBron is still dominating on a nightly basis. It honestly defies logic.
