Barstool Is Taking Over Arizona And Our Party Lineup For Super Bowl Weekend Is Legit. And Best Of All, The Weather Looks Perfect. Thank God.

I just touched down in Phoenix yesterday and the weather couldn't be more beautiful.

And it's looking that way for the rest of the week.

Thank God because I don't think I could handle another monsoon raining/flooding out our Barstool Super Bowl party like what happened in Miami a few years ago…

For a refresher -

We had Rough n Rowdy lined up with some great fights. The plan was to segue right from the fights into a makeshift "Blackout Party", complete with me DJing in the ring (after taking the ropes down), using it as a stage, and letting chicks up on it to dance.

The only problem was the event space Gaz scouted out and reserved was prepared for about 5,000 people max. Yah, it was fucking massive.

We had about 8,000 show up. No bullshit. Tom Ricketts being one of them.

All the stars were out. Like Rob Lowe! (Can't find the pic anymore)

There were a ton of NFL and MLB guys there as well, just rubbing elbows with all the regular joes in the GA sections because security had zero idea what was going on.

Josh Allen was holding court with about 200 people for a long part of the night.

The bars got absolutely pummelled with people ordering 10 at a time and ran out of beer at like 10 o'clock. All time party foul but out of Barstool's control. Sadly, that was the least of worries.

When the fights ended and our show (the party) kicked off, it was just like in the old days. Girls were climbing on top of each other to get on stage (the ring) to dance.

It turned into a circus, (just like the old days), and away we went.

It was turning out to be a pretty good party all things considered (running out of booze, VIP being overrun by GA, security basically waving the white flag, and the venue being insanely crowded).

Until the weather turned.

No joke, I've never in my life before seen more water fall in a shorter amount of time. The phrase "dumping buckets" was literally what it looked like from underneath the overhang and tents set up around the venue.

As people quickly began to scatter underneath anything they could stand under, water began to rise on the ground. We had a legit flash flood on our hands.

We were out in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami, setup on a lot that was powered by a shit load of generators. The fire marshall appeared out of nowhere and began flipping out on everybody.

We had to cut the music and instruct everybody to leave the premises immediately. (Because there were several generators standing in 2 feet of water).

One of the most hilarious videos of all time came from this moment… Shooter McGavin (who was at the party, raging his face off) sitting in the rain, on the phone with somebody, in the aftermath of the shit show.
