'You Get To Play These Guys Six Times A Year' - Josh Allen Recruited Von Miller To The Bills Simply By Texting Him The 3 Other AFC East Quarterbacks

This might be the meanest thing I've ever seen - precisely why I enjoy it. Josh Allen knows the Bills are better than everyone else in the AFC East. He knew the quarterbacks, well, aren't good. Easiest sell of all time. Just a simple text listing the names of the other players and being like, yeah dude, you can rack up stats here if you want. Love that he sent it from a golf cart too. Everyone knows business gets done on the course. Listen to some cliche 50-year old at some point in your life.

I know the point of the article is talking about the quarterback room and how close Allen, Barkley and Keenum are. But this is what sticks out. This sticks out more than the story of Keenum walking around with his ass cheeks hanging out to go lift. Dudes being dudes. I know Von got hurt but he racked up 8 sacks in 11 games. Seems like Allen might have been onto something here.

These are the sort of recruiting stories I want to know more about though. I want to hear players roasting other teams. I want to hear players doing the old school negative recruiting to make your team positive. There's nothing wrong about what Josh Allen said, people would just be scared to say it. Hey, I know the Bills lost too, but it doesn't take away from a great recruiting strategy.
