The Worst Airline In The World Accidentally Sent A Dog On A Plane To SAUDI ARABIA Instead Of Nashville

Hey Dog Walk, I've got another huge screw up for you. A family was moving from London to Nashville so naturally they were flying their dog overseas to bring him home. The mother arrived a day early so he could get the house ready for Bluebell the black lab mix....except she never showed up. The father was on the plane and assumed Bluebell was also on the flight while the pup was supposedly underneath in the cargo bin. Nightmare situation for this family. The airline ended up saying they messed up and the family immediately started asking for proof of life photos that their rescue dog was still alive. They were able to receive a picture proving the dog was alive, but it was halfway across the world. Just look at those eyes, that is a traumatized dog. 

The family said Bluebell ended up spending around 60 hours in its crate and only was able to leave the crate for about 20 minutes which is insane. That is no way to treat a dog, especially while they are on an airplane. Bluebell also had to go on 3 additional long-haul flights, people can barely handle those flights, now think about a rescue dog who probably already has a lot of issues. Just an awful experience for everyone involved, especially Bluebell. And this isn't even the first time that this airline has sent a dog to the wrong country. They did it back in 2018 when they accidentally sent a German Shepard to Japan instead of Kansas. How in the world does that happen? Maybe this airline just shouldn't try and fly dogs?

But don't worry, the airline has given the family 50,000 airline miles to fly with them! What the fuck is that? I'd never want to fly with this awful airline again, 50,000 miles is trash. The family said Bluebell now has severe separation anxiety and honestly I don't blame the dog. That dog probably went through well under the plane in that crate, no wonder they can't leave the dog alone anymore. They said Bluebell has been ripping through his kennel and doors if he's left alone for more than 10 minutes. The amount of stress they put this dog through is insane, but at least they got 50,000 airline miles! They're also asking for around $10,000 from the airline to behavioral therapy and meds for the dog, that seems more on par with what the family should get for having to go through that. 

And of all the places they sent this dog….the Middle East? Yikes. British Airways just being like "Sorry, here's 50K air miles" is such a slap in the face. They couldn't have handled this any worse. Happy that Bluebell is back at home finally though. What a good girl.
