Today's College Basketball Schedule Is, In A Word, Orgasmic

Welcome to the time of the year where everyone is ready to commit to caring about college basketball. You look at a slate like this and it's impossible not to. It's truly a gift from above. Starts at noon, last big time game at 10:30. Perfect. A bunch of big time names playing each other. This is what we're supposed to have to avoid family.

That's really the only dagger right here. There's a good chance people reading this have some sort of 1) holiday party or 2) family event (in laws most likely). You have to come up with the perfect plan to ignore sitting around with people you're forced to be around. Luckily it's simple. A few options:

1. Have people send burner messages to those in the room. Start a rebellion that'll have people talking about it

2. Go get milk, don't come back

3. Steal someone's broad - then you don't have to go to said event

4. Fake having diarrhea, people will leave you be

5. Pretend to be a diehard college basketball fan, you could potentially have your own show

Anywho just suggestions. As for where we are in college basketball this is as simple as I can put it. It's wide open because there aren't great teams. Don't get me wrong - UConn, Purdue, Virginia - they all look damn good right now. But we're not looking at a historically great team (at least not yet). That means we're going to get upsets all year. That means we're going to see games that are beautiful disasters. I love seasons like this.

It's even better getting a slate like this when football starts to end. I still wish we did a better job of this as college basketball fans. We have the weirdest schedule in all of sports. We start slow, then we have Champions Classic/Maui/Atlantis, etc. Then it's a bunch of shit games because of finals before we load up on a Saturday like this before conference play. No one else has this sort of schedule.

You want some action? Fine we can have action.
