Elon Went On A Twitter Purge Last Night (BONUS: Eve 6 Coming From the Clouds For Elon's Head)
Reuters- Twitter on Thursday suspended the accounts of several prominent journalists who recently wrote about its new owner Elon Musk, with the billionaire tweeting that rules banning the publishing of personal information applied to all, including journalists.
Responding to a Tweet on the account suspensions, Musk, who has described himself as a free speech absolutist, tweeted: "Same doxxing rules apply to 'journalists' as to everyone else," a reference to Twitter rules banning the sharing of personal information, called doxxing.
Elon is either petty as fuck… or is a real stickler for Terms of Service.
Twitter (so… Elon) was putting big J journalists in body bags last night. For good measure, he also suspended the account of Twitter competitor Mastadon, which, to be fair, just seems like a sound business decision.
It was like the Red Wedding. Nobody was safe. Even Eve 6 was nervous…
Most of the glorified bloggers whose accounts were nuked had tweeted links to Elon Jet trackers (friendly reminder: Elon went full church candy kid on some UCF student for tracking his private jet). But all of them had been critical of Elon recently. So, yeah, there were signs.
Elon cited safety concerns and the updated Twitter terms he rolled out related to doxxing as the reason he went all 'Dictator' on the haters.
Of course, the most outrageous part of all of this isn’t that Grimes’ baby daddy is not the free speech absolutist he promised he’d be. It’s that some of these learned wordsmiths (and their lackeys) are shocked and appalled that they were banned from Twitter.
It’s pretty straight forward, you guys. You talked shit about the guy that owns the place. His feelings got hurt, so he booted your sorry ass. You played a stupid game, and now you’ve won a stupid prize.

Luckily for us, Elon is allowing Twitter users to play God. A Twitter poll will decide the fate of the journalists…
