Mike Napoli Pulled An All-Time Fantasy Football Cockblock Today

The final weekend of the fantasy football regular season has ended and we're onto the playoffs. It's been a wild regular season so far with Mike Trout having potentially the best roster, but finishing 11th, Christian Yelich & Jace Peterson scoring the least amount of points and getting into the dance, and defending champ Alex Bregman ending the regular season 1-13.

All three teams in contention for the playoffs that needed a win to get in lost their shot with Dave Portnoy, Eric Hosmer, and the trio of Joc Pederson, Austin Barnes, & Alex Wood all lost this past weekend allowing Yelich and Peterson to back into the dance. But the hottest team in the league might be the duo of Shane Bieber and Austin Hedges, but they suffered a big blow with their QB1 Kyler Murray going down early on Monday night. Murray of course is done for the year with a torn ACL and their team was specifically built around Kyler boasting his top 2 wideouts, Deandre Hopkins and Hollywood Brown. With waivers coming on Wednesday morning, they'd need to find a replacement.

But their playoff opponent, Mike Napoli knew this. Napoli is a cerebral player. He's one of the elder statesman in the league and used his wisdom to get ahead of Bieber and Hedges lineup adjustments. So Napoli, managing the team Miami ThunderCoxs, decided to pick up most of the good free agent QBs.

In summary, he added:

Mike White, Aaron Rodgers, Brock Purdy, Andy Dalton, and Daniel Jones. He ended up dropping Chase Claypool, Corey Davis, Parris Campbell, DJ Chark, and Brandin Cooks. An all-time move from Napoli. You can't help but respect the shit out of it. It's win or go home and he attacked his opponent's weakness. Looking forward to seeing how things shake out this week and how Bieber and Hedges recover.
