Coach Prime Is Officially Heading To The University Of Colorado

Alright, let's get after it. Deion Sanders is officially the next head coach at Colorado.

I'm so excited to see what Coach Prime can do at the Power Five level. He has enough talent at Jackson State alone that the Buffs could be competing in the Pac-12 next season just if a handful of those players follow Sanders and transfer to CU. Coach Prime got four- and five-star players to go to Jackson State; imagine the volume of talent he's going to get at Colorado.

Even with just a couple weeks until the early signing period, I expect there will be some very high-level players in this class that end up in Boulder. Every coaching staff in America with a commit in the Top 300 should be calling those kids right now to just check in and make sure they're all good. And then probably do that tomorrow and the day after and the next several after that just to be sure.

We won't have any on-field results for nine more months, but I have a feeling Coach Prime's presence in the Pac-12 will be felt very shortly. I can't wait.
