Sidney Crosby Does Something He's Never Done And Steals Two Shows In Chicago
It was supposed to be a massive celebration in Chicago Sunday Night as the Blackhawks were retiring recent Spittin’ Chiclets guest Marian Hossa’s number 81 to the rafters. Hossa played 534 games and won 3 Stanley Cups with the Hawks, but one of his old teammates had other plans.
The Penguins wanted to have a celebration of their own in the visiting locker room because the star of our Pittsburgh vlog Evgeni Malkin was playing in his 1,000th game. It was an emotional scene before the game as Geno's son read the starting lineup.
The Pens had some fun in warmups mimicking Malkin's unique stretching routine.
So of course Malkin being the legend he is scored a goal on his big night.

Hossa and Malkin are both legends and Hall of Famers, but it was the GOAT, Sidney Crosby stealing the show, as he scored the go-ahead goal with 3 minutes remaining, and finished off a 4 point night with an empty net assist. The crazy stat of the night is that this goal was #87's first-ever goal at the United Center.
Crosby scoring late in the game was especially nice for those of us who had Penguins winning in regulation bets on the Barstool Sportsbook!!!!
