Weili Zhang Makes QUICK WORK Of Carla Esparza To Become The New Flyweight Champ

Welp - not much to say about that one! 

Weili Zhang just went in there and made REAL quick work of the now-former champ Carla Esparza, just like we all thought she would!

Honestly, I was pretty impressed with Esparza in the first round despite her obviously dropping it to Zhang. There were some really creative/crafty scrambles in that round, and I honestly thought Zhang was gonna do to her what she did to Andrade - AKA knock her out with punches in bunches in under a minute.

They were just clearly levels apart in there when it came time for the second round, however, and Zhang got that choke with ease. As much as I hate to say it, cause it's mean, Esparza never really felt like the champ to me. Things in the Flyweight Division now feel right.

Congrats to the new champ!

P.S. The Leech was on fighter row in support of Zhang as well, gotta love that….
