TJ Dillashaw Dislocates His Shoulder Leading To An Easy Aljamain Sterling Victory At UFC 280

Welp - that was underwhelming.

Pretty early on into the Ajlamain Sterling vs TJ Dillashaw fight for the UFC Bantamweight Championship, you could tell that something wasn't right with the former champ Dillashaw. He hadn't been at open workouts earlier in the week, he wasn't using his left hand/arm much, and then, all of a sudden - POP!  TJ's left shoulder clearly dislocated.

It looked all gross and sharp and pointy for a while (as dislocated shoulders do), and he was able to fight through the pain and get it popped back in between the first and second rounds, but Aljo took over pretty quickly into the second, TJ's shoulder dislocated again, and that just spelled out the beginning of the end. The Champ got on top of Dillashaw, poured on some ground-and-pound, and it was over quick.

TJ Dillashaw apologized to the bantamweight division after the fight, for basically putting a pause on things when he maybe should've pulled out of the fight and let someone else get this opportunity (because this has apparently been an injury/problem for weeks) and Aljo called out pretty much all of his contenders with cheesy little nicknames for all of them.

Let's hope Charles Oliveira vs Islam Makhachev lives up to the hype a bit more than this one! That fight is starting now so I'm ending this blog abruptly! See you on the other side!
