Coach Cal Is Taking Over The College Basketball World (Again) Thanks To His Big Brain Use Of Facial-Recognition Software

The man is a genius! I say this not even as a biased Kentucky fan. I say this because he's always a step ahead (except for the whole shooting thing). Using facial-recognition software in order to see who gets more shots up? I LOVE it. It's completely flipped my thought process on facial-recognition software. I'm not worried about Russia or some hackers anymore. I'm worried about finding out Cason Wallace isn't in there getting 1,000 shots up. I'm worried about the report that Sahvir Wheeler isn't working on his jumper (see the shooting thing).

Much like everything else Calipari does, I know that people will copy it. I'm sure K is already putting this in at Cameron so he can lock Scheyer out if things go bad. I'm sure we'll hear about Self and Kansas using this. Everyone and anyone is going to steal Cal's thing and try to beat him at it. That's when Cal needs to do one of the things he's elite at. Scream over everyone.

It's called asserting dominance, Rick. Learn it a time or two and maybe, just maybe, Tennessee can finally make a Final Four.

So chalk it up that I'm pro-facial recognition software as long as it's for getting shots up. Jacob Toppin also needs to do this because if he can shoot at all he's going to be good. If not, well, I'm not letting my brain think that. Less than 3 weeks. Please be good.
