Penn State Players Were LAUNCHING PB&J Sandwiches At Michigan Players During Their Halftime Tunnel Scuffle On Saturday

Who the hell throws a High Noon can peanut butter and jelly sandwich at someone? That's the only question I have right now. I get that scuffles happen - especially when you get some conference games going. In case you missed it this was the tunnel incident on Saturday:

Now we know the big argument was over PB&J sandwiches being hurled all about. One can only assume Sean Clifford did not connect or made a huge error, so we can rule him out as culprit number 1. We may have to keep an eye on James Franklin since he can't beat good teams and has to come up with clever ways to be the 'it' coach. I'm not ruling out one of the Pater...never mind.

But we're talking about PB&J here. This is as American as watching the Shannon Elizabeth scene in American Pie. Every kid in America knows about a PB&J. Every human has it as a go-to if they really want some sugar. Slap about 65% PB on there, get the rest in jelly and go to town. You can't be wasting that shit during a halftime dust up. If someone starts swinging with a helmet and it's your last resort, go ahead and chuck it. But you gotta save that bad boy. Plus, a PB&J ain't gonna hurt anyone. Best case scenario there is the other team gets some sticky/slimy fingers? Maybe some jelly in the eye?

This is the JV version of bringing a knife to a gun fight. You can't do any damage AND you start feeding your opponent. I'm not saying Penn State lost because of this, but it's a big reason. That sandwich was launched too. You can see it in the video too. All I know is, trash behavior by Penn State. Not really shocked.
