A Weekend With Chiclets In Pittsburgh Starts Today!!

The Spittin' Chiclets crew has assembled in Pittsburgh to kick off the start of the NHL season and we have a jammed-pack schedule to make sure we do all and see all Pittsburgh. As you might have heard Biz, Whit, and I were all drafted and eventually played for the Penguins which makes this trip extra special.

Someone was really excited to hear Whit was coming back to town and made him feel right at home in his hotel room.

Things kick off Thursday at 4 pm at Tequila Cowboy on the North Shore with a Big Deal Brewing tasting.

Hopefully, we can talk Biz into getting behind the bar to pour a few drafts again!

I can't wait to meet all the Yinzers and dummy a bunch of the new Big Deal Brewing Golden Ales with them. We'll have to put the governors on so we don't drink too many because the crew moves over to PPG Paints Arena to watch our old club take on the Arizona Coyotes at 7 pm.

Waking up Friday morning with the repercussions of too many Big Deal brews and Pink Whitney shots at a live Penguins game will be rough, but the hung will fade quickly as it is main event day. The sold-out Spittin' Chiclets Live show doors open at 7 pm and will kick off at 8 pm, this will be an electric night!!

After those two days, you would find most people laying in a dark room littered with water bottles, pizza boxes, and sucking their thumbs but the Chiclets Crew does not stop on these trips. Saturday morning we will head to the golf course to tape a new Sandbagger that has the potential to be the most entertaining one yet.

After the round, we will hit the clubhouse for a few adult beverages then head to McFadden's on the North Shore to watch the Pens vs. Lightning game. Of course, there will be loads of Big Deal Brewing and Pink Whitney, but rumors are surfacing that there will also be a few bubble hockey tables as well!

Sunday is the day of rest right? Nope, not for the Chiclets Crew, we are headed to Heinz Field, or whatever they are calling it now to watch Tom Brady take on the Steelers. I don't think there is a team in the NFL that needs a "Chiclets Bump" more than the Steelers after Josh Allen and the Bills laid a beating on them.

That will bring a close to the Chiclets Weekend Pittsburgh as we will all head home our separate ways. Pitt is a special place and I know we will all leave here with new memories of a fantastic city we once called home!

Go Pens and Everybody Rides!!!
