Apparently The Manager Advantage The Guardians Have Over The Yankees Is Wider Than The Gap Aaron Judge Had In His Teeth

Listen my mother told me if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all, but I can't keep my mouth shut here. I knew Aaron Boone was a moron but I didn't know to what extent. From following our Yankees fans I knew they all hate him, but I didn't realize he was trying to lose this series.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Gerrit Cole is NOT the Yankees best pitcher this year. I don't watch this team every day but the guys I follow told me so.

I mean, if he's the best pitcher in baseball, would he not be the best pitcher on his team?

Ok so Cortes is the best pitcher in baseball and he's their Ace, but Aaron Boone has decided to start Gerrit Cole in game one?

I'm afraid that Aaron Boone is answering to the $324,000,000 fully guaranteed contact the Yankees gave Cole and not doing what's best for the team. He's not a bad pitcher but if you look at the stats they don't lie, Nestor Cortes Jr is simply better. Cole is 13-8 with a 3.50 ERA. Cortes is 12-4 with a 2.44 ERA. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know who should get the ball in Game 1 and then set up for a nice, well-rest Game 5 elimination game if necessary. Or are you telling me they're going to throw Cole on four days rest in Game 4 and then Cortes on three days rest in Game 5? Please do that, jus don't let the kids at home watch you throw your arms out. 

I was a little nervous when I woke up this morning because I know the Yankees are a talented team but now I feel great that I know their manager cares more about making their contracts look worthy than the series. I see why my coworkers hate this guy.
