Suburb Saturdays Volume 13: My Neighbor's Garbage Is A Disgusting House Of Cards

In the suburbs, garbage is something you have to set up. At least in my town it is. It's not something that just happens without you doing anything. But it's for the most part a set it and forget it thing. You get charged every month for it and they come a few times a week. Now in the burbs, I wouldn't say it's keeping up with the Joneses, but more just don't be that guy. Don't be the guy with the super long lawn. Don't be the guy with unkempt bushes going every which way. Don't be the guy with a bunch of dead trees that could fall over with a strong gust of wind. And definitely don't be the guy with a crazy overflowing garbage. It's just an eye sore. Plus if it's windy, it could knock over and blow into other people's yard and just looks gross. On top of that, it can attract raccoons and other animals.

This week, there is no poll, just a statement. If this is you, this is just plain wrong. If you're a passive aggressive type of guy you may knock this trash can over but this is just ripe for a conversation. You can claim that some shit blew into your yard, but this is just unacceptable. Trash bags were created for a reason and as a guy who takes out the trash literally every day (the wildest part about being a parent is how often you take out the trash. It's honestly bonkers) it's a wild move if you're not using them. So literally and figuratively - CLEAN IT UP.

Here is last week's poll on what's the earliest people can start putting up holiday decorations:

Thanks for reading and see you next Saturday!
