The Yankees Clubhouse Pranked Kyle Higashioka During His Postgame Interview After Luis Severino's Gem

Caught this scrolling Twitter today. Absolutely hilarious moment. Kyle Higashioka gets interviewed about Luis Severino's dominant performance last night and whoever was controlling the music either set him up to try and make him laugh, or was just really amped for the win over the Texas Rangers, and I am pretty confident it's the first option.

Underrated comedy in this one is Higashioka hearing the song and smirking right from the get go, and then the perfect ... I mean absolute perfect pause when Roddy Rich go "BITCH DON'T WEAR NO SHOES IN MY HOUSE". Comedy. Almost so gold it seems planned. Hats off to Higgy for that one. Pure comedy.

I imagine the reporters being super uncomfortable during the interview since baseball writers are usually some of the most stuffed shirts ever. Likely complained about the professionalism of it, "How dare they play that music with that language?". Shut up. Have some fun. I hate the Yankees, but this is the clubhouse. It's supposed to be fun. Lighten up.

Still crying laughing Higgy's pause. So perfect.

Hit it Roddy …
