You Can Feel However You Want About The Queen But You Are A Monster If You Don't Feel Bad For Her Heartbroken, Grieving Corgis

The Queen's funeral just wrapped up, those of us who watched since about 5am came out of it with a few takeaways:

1. It's extremely long

2. They have to walk SO MUCH

3. The Navy pulls her casket instead of horses because apparently at Queen Victoria's funeral, horses got loose

4. Queen Elizabeth's corgis are devastated by her absence.

Elizabeth was a major animal lover. She had many horses, and apparently would "still ride them well into her 90s" which is insane to think about. The back pain?? Ouch. But everyone who knows the bare minimum about her, knows she was a huge dog lover. Corgis specifically. She has owned over 30 corgis in her life, leaving two in her death (Sandy and Muick.) And here they are, paying their respects as best they can. Poor babies, nothing is sadder than seeing sweet puppies wondering where their mom is and confused by what's happening. I almost want to say let these babies go home and run around in the grass or lay down on their cozy beds because this day was just too much. They deserve to grieve in peace too.
