THE MANNINGCAST CURSE IS DEAD: Saquon Barkley Is Officially The First Player To Get A Win After Going On Their Show

Oh yes, I actually think this should move the Giants to 3-0. Actually, this should guarantee a playoff spot. The ManningCast curse is dead: 

Was it pretty? Absolutely not. But it was a win. Clem will have a full Giants recap later but here's basically what I can guarantee he'll say. 

Wink Martindale. 

The Giants defense is nasty man. Well, at least they capitalize. That's what I should say. They forced a couple fumbles, got after Baker and didn't make any major mistakes. That's a huge step in the right direction. Wink wanted noise like it was the 80s and they delivered. Even more importantly we looked the part. Like I said, holding top-15 quarterback Baker Mayfield to 16 points and never giving up that huge play was the bigger story. 

But this is about Saquon. Clem will talk about Wink. This is about breaking the ManningCurse. I was worried we were going to have a Madden Curse on our hands. And you know what? It feels right that it was a Giant that did it. Eli isn't Peyton. He doesn't have two teams. He's a Giant. He led us to two Super Bowls. It was only right for one of our own to break the curse.
