Big Cat Leads The Barstool Mini Golf Invitational After Historic First Round, Shoots 11-Under Par

Round 1 of the inaugural Barstool Mini Golf Invitational is in the books, and the 40 player field has been nearly cut in half. But only one man stands on top after 18 holes of play, and it is a very familiar face in the Barstool universe:

Dan "Big Cat" Katz.

The father of two is all by himself in first place at -11 through 18 holes of play, which is good enough to be the lowest single-round score in Barstool Mini Golf history (ignore the sample size, facts are facts).

The cut line for this tournament was -2, meaning that 22 of the 40 players will advance to Moving Day, which airs next Tuesday and Thursday at 7 PM ET on the Barstool Sports YouTube Channel.

Here is the full leaderboard, so that you can see who will be moving on and whose dream of the $10,000 prize has come to an end:

Dave Portnoy had a few bright spots throughout Round 1, but unfortunately for El Pres, he missed the cut after shooting even par.

As for last place… BILLY!!! A tough, tough round for Mr. William Pigskin. Will he rebound next year and be in the mix? I hope so, but probably not.
