The Crue Is Officially Back! Motley Crue Has Come Under Fire Because Some Fans Are Upset The Band Is Asking The Crowd To Show Their Tits And Dicks, Which Has Been Followed By People Whipping Out Their Tits And Dicks

ABC A concertgoer is speaking out against the actions of rock band Motley Crue after he said its drummer encouraged audience members to expose their genitals on camera at a recent tour stop in California.

Juan Alvarez and his sister attended the band's San Francisco concert on Wednesday. They waited three years to attend, given the pandemic pause. A YouTube video shows founding member Tommy Lee asking the crowd to expose their genitals. Alvarez was shocked and says it was traumatizing not only for himself but for children who witnessed the naked body parts on the Jumbotron.

"Minors and everyone was forced to see people nude on the big screen and everyone was doing it around us too. It was like Sodom and Gomorrah, it was crazy. Even the usher, he had to pull a guy down from the brick wall because he had his private parts out, screaming. It was pretty crazy," Alvarez said.

Alvarez knows the band is known for its raunchy antics and understands many rock fans will give the band a pass. "They thought it was absolutely fine and normal and hilarious and okay," Alvarez said. "When I brought up there were children and 6 and 9-year-old girls and kids there, they said 'Well, they shouldn't have come to the Crue show.'"

Alvarez plans to file a police report with San Francisco police for the indecent exposure and has no plans to ever return to another Motley Crue show again.

Hey man, I hate to break it to you, but going to a Motely Crue concert and seeing tits and ass and being surprised, is like going to Buffalo Wild Wings and being surprised you see wild wings.

I also hate to break it to you, but if you're bringing a six or 9-year-old to a Motley Crue (and Def Leppard, Joan Jett, and Poison) Tour, that kid is already fucked. Seeing boobs and "other genitals," as the telecast described, is the least of your, and that kid's worries. Trust me.

You're pretty much raising a real life Donny Berger. My advice is lean into it. 

Bringing your kid to watch 80s hair metal greatness, with some of this sprinkled in, makes you a hero in that kid's eyes.

Guarantee that kid walked into school the following Monday with the most epic stories (and videos on his phone) and was the most popular kid in the cafeteria. 

That kind of stuff doesn't happen at The Weeknd concerts.

Also, it appears the boys are taking a quick breather and then heading back out on the road again.

UCR - "See you in February," read a post that appeared on the Instagram pages of both the band and bassist Nikki Sixx. On Friday night in Las Vegas the group completed a highly successful summer tour that found them performing alongside Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett.

The long-delayed tour was reported to have made $5 million each night, and Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott had previously said plans were being made to take the show around Europe and the U.K.

According to a new Las Vegas Review Journal interview with singer Vince Neil, Motley Crue will tour internationally alongside Def Leppard in 2023, visiting Mexico and South America in the spring and European soccer stadiums next summer. A return to the United States is slated to follow in 2024, and a new Las Vegas residency is also being discussed. "We're far from being over," Neil promised. "When we come back in '24, we're going to do it all over again."

p.s. - I missed this Stadium Tour when it came through Wrigley (after being rescheduled 3 times) but heard mixed reviews. I heard Def Leppard was incredible. As always. Their sound was crystal clear, they were tight as can be and in sync as a band, and put on a hell of a show. Heard it was not so much the case for Motley Crue but that by the time they came on it was such a party and people were having such a blast nobody seemed to care. Really hope I can catch them on their next American tour leg.
