She Hulk Is...Actually Good!
I don't want to hear any Shrek comments about the good-looking guy on the right unless you are subscribed to the My Mom's Basement YouTube. However if you are a subscriber, fire away! Just don't be too mean.
Anyway Bob Fox and I finally got back into the basement following a nightmare wisdom tooth surgery to talk about the series premiere of She Hulk, which as you can tell by the title, has been given a stamp of approval in the Barstool world.
The show is fun, doesn't take itself too seriously, had some solid jokes, and can make the MCU seem like a realer place by grounding it with court cases against heroes/villains like a Marvel version of The Boys.
Oh yeah and we got confirmation that Steve Rogers got his dick wet back when he was touring as Captain America in one of my favorite mid-credits scenes ever as well as a motherfucking Hulk vs. Hulk fight in EPISODE ONE.
All in all, She Hulk was a delightful way to spend a half hour on a Thursday. Hopefully they keep it up, which I am going to choose to believe they will because it's #TrustTheFeige forever, and we'll keep covering it in the basement (SUBSCRIBE SUBSCRIBE SUBSCRIBE) as long as they keep pumping out good content.
