Call It Like You See It: A Rugby Fan Broke Into The Commentary Booth Mid-Game To Complain About Air Conditioning

[Source] - Live radio commentary of Sunday's rugby league clash between Bradford Bulls and Workington Town was disrupted after an irate fan stormed in to moan about the air conditioning.

The Bulls won the RFL Championship clash 48-18, leaving them ninth in the table. But afterwards, it wasn't the action that dominated the post-match reaction.

Throughout, the fan, who seemed apoplectic about the air conditioning being on in the stands, was in a heated argument, and could be heard saying: "You sort it" repeatedly.

"In my 13 seasons of covering live #RugbyLeague on the radio, I've never experienced a supporter breaking into the commentary box to ask for the air conditioning unit to be turned down," read the tweet, "Apologies for any profanities you may have heard earlier today."

Nothing and I mean NOTHING fires people up like air conditioning. It's too hot, it's too cold. People need it set a certain temperature. Dads yell about wasting money if you leave a door open for approximately .01 seconds. Now we have some British dude breaking into the radio booth to complain about it. That's a step too far. Sports is the one time we get away from the air conditioning debate.

It's hot during sports or it's cold. It's supposed to be outdoor stuff. Nothing gets someone going like saying 'it's football weather.' You immediately can picture it - well, at least in America. A solid like mid-high 60 weather for a high. You get the crisp morning where you might have a sweatshirt and shorts on with a coffee (add bourbon). No one wants to break into anything during that weather.

How about the pussy though? You can't break into a place and then scream they are assaulting you. It doesn't work that way! You broke into their place. They are allowed to assault you. You for sure can't scream assault. You can't get caught screaming that at a minimum. You need to take a stand and scream louder about the air conditioning.

Like I said, air conditioning makes people do crazy things. Set the temperature really low (or high if you're a crazy person) and see how people react.
