Israel Adesanya's Fight Peaked At The Walkout As He Wins A Pretty Boring Decision

Unfortunately, Israel "The Last Stylebender" Adesanya's UFC 276 main event against Jared "The Killa Gorilla" Cannonier peaked at his Undertaker-inspired walkout....

Adesanya went and jabbed Cannonier's face off for five rounds as fans filed out of the T-Mobile Arena to end the night....

I love Stylebender and really wanted him to come in and run through Cannonier tonight with a flashy performance and an explosive highlight reel finish (so I could stop hearing the disappointment from my friends who call him "boring" after they buy his fights), but clearly this wasn't a great fight to prove otherwise.

Adesanya called out Pereira in his post-fight interview, saying he was gonna put him on skates like Elsa from Frozen or something, and stormed out of the octagon quickly.

He didn't sound too thrilled with his performance when cameras overheard him talking to his coach post-fight, either. Hopefully Pereira brings the fight to him and we get another banger Adesanya fight whenever they set that up. Wonder if they could turn it around for MSG in November - I selfishly want that to happen. I'm gonna manifest it.

Overall, I thought UFC 276 was pretty damn solid. Not card of the year material or anything - that still belongs to either UFC London, UFC Singapore, or UFC Austin - but a great night of fights nonetheless. Weird to not see Dana in attendance knowing the importance of the card/International Fight Week in general, but he may just be enjoying the holiday weekend with his family up in Maine or something.

Thanks to everyone who followed along on the blog tonight.
