An Ex-TMZ Employee Savagely Dunked On Amber Heard's Lawyer After He Was Accused Of Seeking His '15 Minutes of Fame'

It's almost over folks. We're one day away from the Amber Heard-Johnny Depp defamation trial from coming to an end with closing arguments set for tomorrow. This week has already had Johnny Depp retake the stand, along with his ex Kate Moss skyping in. Yesterday a former TMZ employee, whom which TMZ's lawyers did not want to see take the stand, popped up to clarify a few important moments.

This Malfoy looking guy is Morgan Tremaine, a former field assignment manager for TMZ, disclosed some very impactful information like his team being tipped off Heard was leaving the courthouse with bruises and the video of Depp smashing wine bottles in their kitchen coming in a very edited version sent directly from the copyright holder. We'll get into all that in a second, but I want to focus first on how he tomahawk dunked on Heard's lawyer from the damn free throw line.

For whatever reason Heard's lawyer Elaine Bredehoft decided to tick off Morgan and allude to the fact he's only there to get his 15 minutes of fame. He disputed that claim saying he's in fact putting himself at risk with TMZ and then snapped the same question right back at her. Watch the clip below, it's short.

The reactions from some of the audience and Depp's team were priceless. You've seen this the whole trial with Heard's team making fools of themselves, so it was only fitting we'd get one more of those before things come to a close.

During his testimony the ex-TMZ guy revealed the video below was edited when it arrived on TMZ's doorstep via their tips email.

It's been rumored that Heard's team leaked that video to TMZ, and this guy basically confirmed that through a very clever line of question and answer. Essentially he revealed the only way to get an article up with the video as quick as they did would be if the tip came from the copyright holder aka the person who took the video. That scenario would take around 15 minutes. If it didn't come that way they would have to undergo a lengthy vetting process in order to confirm the video's legitimacy. When asked how long it took to publish the video upon receiving it he said about 15 minutes. Hmmm….it's almost as if the claims of her leaking the video to TMZ were exactly true.

He also revealed the video they received was edited from the full version that was played out during the trial. He alludes to the beginning part where Heard set up the camera and the end where she snickers after he gets angry being removed from the version TMZ received. Hmmm….wonder why that would be?

Tremaine also acknowledged receiving a tip of when Heard would be leaving the courthouse on the day she was granted a straining order from the actor. This essentially set up a choreographed photo opportunity to display her bruises she claimed to have gotten from Depp assaulting her. Heard claimed during the trial that she was shocked to see the photographers there at the courthouse. Wonder who the tip was from….

Credit to this guy, he really had nothing to gain from taking the stand except for exposing the truth. I honestly hope TMZ doesn't go after him too hard if that's the avenue they decide to go down. He's going viral for the clap back, but the way he revealed giant details here without saying it was about Heard directly was very important.

In related news, but nothing to do with TMZ, this week we also had one of Depp's lawyer's bulldozing Heard's expert witness. Tough look.

One more day of this trial. Never thought in a million years I'd give it a moments notice. Only thing I've ever cared to see her in was Never Back Down and honestly I had forgotten Johnny Depp was still around. Now I'm here chomping at the bit for the next big detail to surface.
