D.K. Metcalf's High School QB Is Still in College and Has Committed to His Fifth School in Seven Years

D.K. Metcalf is entering his fourth season in the NFL. He will have made $7.5 million by the end of this year and will certainly sign a contract worth many times that at some point soon.

His high school quarterback — who was in Metcalf's same class — will still be playing college football this season, at his fifth school in seven years.

Jack Abraham played alongside Metcalf at Oxford High School during their senior season in 2015. Since then, Abraham has spent time at Louisiana Tech, Northwest Mississippi Community College, Southern Miss, Mississippi State and now Missouri over seven years. This guy is going to finish his college football career with a PhD.

Abraham put together some pretty solid seasons at Southern Miss before he got hurt and was unable to play at Mississippi State. So now we'll possibly get a chance to see what he can do in the SEC at Missouri. He'll be competing with returning quarterbacks Brady Cook and Tyler Macon as well as four-star true freshman Sam Horn, but I'm rooting for Abraham. Missouri just feels like a school that should have a seventh-year senior under center.
