The Internet Continues To Wonder If Johnny Depp And His Lawyer Camille Vasquez Are Dating

As the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard defamation trial concludes its fifth week in court, the star of the show has quickly become Depp's lawyer Camille Vasquez. I mentioned her in my blog earlier in the week where she called out Heard for scumming $7 million in charity payments. Camille has gained popularly with her cutthroat tactics toward Heard during her cross-examination where she's hellbent on calling out Heard for her bullshit. This is the last person you won't to be on the wrong side of an argument with. She probably ends up gaining the most out of anyone from this trial when it's all said and done. 

Well, this week many began to wonder if there's anything more between Vasquez and her client. Fresh off a week full of relationship drama at Barstool HQ, let's get right back in the thick of things with some potential court room shenanigans. 

Social media has naturally been all over the two's interactions. 

Some actually stuff going on here? Nothing at all? Hubbs the Yankees are 28-10 what are you doing dude? (you'll get an Aaron Hicks blog later today). Well this got enough traction that TMZ asked her in person as she was leaving court if there was anything going on.

Now obviously the move there is to laugh it off. Imagine she turned to the camera and was like, "yeah we're dating it's awesome!" No chance in hell. She didn't outright deny it though. Little strange, huh? 

Well, turns out she's off the market so that should end all that. 

(source) However, a source told TMZ on May 10, 2022, that Camille is happily taken by another man. She’s currently dating a British real estate agent. The pair have been very serious for the past couple of months. However, Camille admires Johnny as her client. The source adds that Camille finds Johnny “funny and couldn’t help but laugh at some of his antics and/or his sense of humor.”

The insider also revealed that Johnny and Camille keep it very friendly when it comes to being in professional settings. “Everyone on the legal team is buttoned up, but they’ve all gotten very close to their client—it’s become both a professional relationship and a friendship.”

It's entirely possible they're trying to look like this in court on purpose to show the jury Depp is a decent fella. At the end of the day optics play a whole lot in the case in regards to swaying opinions. When you've got Heard's sister and friends taking the stand to describe how much of a maniac he is in their eyes you need any positivity you can get.

This trial has been filled with so many viral moments that I almost don't want it to end. From Heard's incompetent lawyers making fools of themselves, Depp on the stand being entertaining, that one dude testifying in his car while vaping and driving, Depp's bodyguard being asked about Depp's penis, Heard firing her PR team mid-trial, the infamous poop in the bed story re-surfacing, to the Elon Musk three way — I mean this case has fucking delivered. Who knows where the jury sides, but I'm pretty sure the judge wants this over by MDW so we should be getting a decision very soon.
