Just A Day After Beating Rafa, 19 Year Old Tennis Phenom Carlos Alcaraz Takes Down Novak Djokovic And Officially Announces Himself To The World

Before today no one on Earth had ever beaten Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic on clay in the same tournament. 19 year tennis phenom and rising global super star just became the first.

There really are no words to describe what this kid has done in the last year. From bursting on the scenes at last year’s US Open to beat Tsitsipas in a five set thriller to mowing down literally everyone in his path to now taking down Rafa and Novak in consecutive days. It’s absolutely stupid what Carlos Alcaraz is doing. Already up to 7th in the world rankings and climbing by the second.

The crowd in Madrid was electric. They lost it when Carlos leveled the match and broke Djokovic at 7-5 in the 2nd.

Despite Djokovic taking the first set in a tiebreak, the kid didn’t blink. The moment never got to him, and maybe it’s the young age making him naive to what he’s accomplishing out there, but his confidence and composure is nuts. He seems to utilize his lethal drop shot in the biggest of spots when normally players wouldn’t dare to try such a play. It almost always works. That shot had Novak completely rattled all match. Carlos hit over 50 winners this one, more than double Novak.

We are witnessing an all-time great rise to his super stardom. Carlos Alcaraz has arrived.
