Oh Fuck Yeah, A New Jackass Series Is Coming To Paramount+

Variety- “Jackass” is heading back to the small screen, with a new series from the original creators in the works at Paramount+ after to the immense popularity of “Jackass Forever.” “Based off the success of ‘Jackass Forever,’ we’re working with the creators to continue the partnership with a new series, bringing even more ridiculous antics straight to Paramount+,” Paramount Global CEO Bob Bakish said Tuesday during the company’s Q1 earnings call Tuesday.

That's one small announcement for man, one giant announcement for mankind. I'm still not sure how the hell Jackass is the one comedic brand from the early 2000s that has survived online outrage culture and all the bullshit that goes with it. Actually those maniacs not giving a fuck about their own well-being let alone what other people think about them probably has a lot to do it. So of course their show refuses to die just like the people starring in it

Nonetheless, I am obviously thrilled to hear that Jackass will continue to hang around to make future generations gag, scream, and hide their eyes in fear while not being able to turn away from watching a stranger hilariously torture themself because the human brain is fucked. I feel like Netflix is going to be a real asshole with prices and password sharing in the coming years since their stock fell of a cliff, so I suppose it's time to seriously consider getting a Paramount+ account since they already have Challenge All-Stars. I would say this quote from Johnny Knoxville may give me some pause.

“Jackass” leader Johnny Knoxville spoke to Variety this year about how “Jackass Forever” signals his desire to hand over the reins to a new generation of pranksters. After a particularly gruesome hit from a bull while filming “Forever,” Knoxville said, “Those were big [stunts], and could end as badly. Or worse. I’ve done enough. I don’t have anything to prove. I have kids to raise. That’s the most important thing.”

However, that sick son of a bitch isn't going to be able to sit on the sidelines for too long while watching some young bucks self-mutilate themselves on the show he built. I mean I hope he just sits at home and think of extremely creative ways to hurt his employees. But based on everything we know about Johnny Knoxville, he's gonna wanna get back on the saddle in creating the most beautiful marriage between carnage and comedy other than the beautiful chaos that's going to unfold on Saturday night.

Yeah, I had to plug our own stuff because if Portnoy saw I was pumping up Paramount+ for free, he'd prolly fire my ass. Anyway, here are some of the best and beautiful moments from this glorious show's past.

Hi I'm Clem, welcome to Jackass.
