Florida State Takes Team Picture With Dalvin Cook, Kicks Him Out, Retakes It

CBS – Florida State took its team photos on Sunday, capturing the entire roster together as the team prepares for the 2015 season. According to the Orlando Sentinel’s Brendan Sonnone, suspended running back Dalvin Cook was present for one team photo and absent for another.

Cook was suspended indefinitely after turning himself in to authorities on misdemeanor battery charges following an altercation outside a Tallahassee bar in June. The sophomore running back is being charged with striking a female.

You thought you, the casual blog reader stuck in your cubicle on this long, hot, sport-less summer, needed college football to come back ASAP. But there’s nobody on the planet that needs college football season to start more than Florida State.

Basically the offseason from hell. Just story after story, bad press followed by more bad press, suspensions, bar bans, social media bans. To the point where you’re shuffling your starting running back in and out of team pictures because nobody has any idea if he’ll actually be able to play this season. Biggest concern should have been how you’re going to replace your Heisman winning quarterback, not how many of your guys could punch a girl in the face, allegedly.
