Restaurant Patron is a Victim of 'Prejudice Against Big Naturals' When Her Breasts are Too 'Distracting'

Source -  A restaurant-goer had some nasty comments to get off her chest.

Adrienne Airhart was celebrating her birthday when a woman at the table next to her started shaming her for her breast size, she shared in a now-viral tweet.

The Los Angeles-based podcaster said she was told her chest was “distracting” before the woman got up and moved tables.

“Tonight at my birthday dinner I took off my shawl and the lady at the next table said, ‘Well those are distracting’ and moved tables. Still got it!” Airhart tweeted.

Allow me to offer my unwavering (and this is not meant as a NY Post-style double-entendre, but I'm not avoiding it, either) support for Adrienne Airhart in her struggle against this kind of insidious body shaming. But let me also take issue with one statement she made. Specifically, "I'm not that hot." Yes you are, Ms. Airhart. And I'll except no argument to the contrary.

But more to the point, all decent Americans need to be united in decrying prejudice of this sort. It's straight up evil. And while most of thought it was a dark part of our country's past, wiped out by the Cleavage Rights legislation of the 1960s and the popular Big 'Uns Movement of the '80s and '90s:

… we clearly still have a lot of work to do as a society if we're finally going to put anti-breast attitudes on the ash heap of history where they belong.

And that is up to all of us. If we're going to see real progress, it's going to take each and every one of us being intolerant of this intolerance. Hatred of Big Naturals is not born in us, it's a learned behavior. All you have to do is watch any young child when they're around breasts like Adrienne Airhart's, see how happy they are to make friends with them, and it's obvious that it's in our nature to love and accept them. But toxic societal influences poison minds like the one belonging to that breastphobe woman at the table next to Adrienne's. And we need to unite to not only accept impressively large breasts as they are, but also to proactively speak out against the hatred. Because clearly it is out there:

And the haters are not backing off:

So stay vigilant. Speak out against Big Naturals hatred. And stand with the Adrienne's of the world, like this other lady's date clearly did. Silence is violence. Together we can make this world a better place, one low cut dress at a time.
