Bill Burr Announces He Will Be Making History As The First Ever Comedian To Perform At Fenway Park
First of all, I am shocked that no comedian has ever played Fenway Park. I mean I get it, kind of? But it seems like with all the funny people coming out of Boston, one of them would've put together a show at Fenway by now. Regardless, if there's one guy who deserves to be there, it's Bill Burr. Here's his announcement from Twitter...
Tickets go on sale this Fridey and I wouldn't be surprised if they sell out in a matter minutes. People eat him up where ever he goes, but especially in Boston considering he's a home town hero. A masshole, if you will. I remember watching his YouTube tour of Boston back in the day and roaring every time he did the accent. I posted both of those videos below. What I'm trying to say is, Bill gets it. He's one of us. It wouldn't be right to have some New Yorker come in play Fenway, which is why Bill makes so much sense. That and he's arguably one of the greatest comedians of all time. I was going to end this blog by telling you that I'm going to the show and can't wait and blah blah blah, but to be honest I don't know what I'm going to be doing in August. I don't even know what I'm having for lunch. Hopefully I make it, but no promises. Anyway, congrats to Bill on the gig. Now here are those tour videos I was telling you about earlier. Enjoy...
