Coaching 101: Soccer Manager Rushes The Field And Stops A Counter-Attack In The 89th Minute To Keep Team From Losing

I love this move. It's called leading from the front and setting an example for your players. Those scrubs couldn't stop the counter attack so you do it yourself. It worked too. Game was tied 1-1 and you have a legit chance of going down 2-1 here. Oh no, dude gets a red card. Better than a loss, that's for damn sure. Actually the best part about this was the fact this was the ASSISTANT manager. Not even the head guy, just Dwight Schrute out there causing mayhem and helping his team out. Makes me appreciate the play even more.

It's worth noting this happened in Spain. Better than some other places but you gotta keep your head on a swivel if you're the assistant coach here. You don't know who you pissed off. You don't know who is cheering for the other team. One thing I've learned in blogging about weird soccer shit is sometimes it's the no-name leagues that have the craziest fans.

Love it. There's taking one for the team and there's actually doing it. This guy should be elevated to head manager right away.
