An appeals court ruled that a letter that allegedly shows that MLB hid a Yankees sign-stealing scheme should be unsealed.

The letter allegedly proves that the Yankees did sore than simply improperly using a dugout phone in 2015.

The court also upheld the dismissal of a $5-million lawsuit DraftKings player Kristopher Olson filed with more than 100 other plaintiffs against MLB, the Houston Astros and the Boston Red Sox over the illegal sign-stealing scandal that rocked the sport over the winter of 2019-2020.

Well, well, well we're finally going to see about this mysterious letter Yankees President Randy Levine has tried to hide for years now. You'd think this letter had launch codes or something with the lengths the team has gone to try and hide it. This is baseball's big moment where they catch the Yankees in a sign stealing scandal as bad or worse than the Astros. Oh boy what's inside this letter…

The letter, which was from Commissioner Rob Manfred to Yankees general manager Brian Cashman, was actually related to the Apple Watch fiasco between the Yankees and Red Sox in 2015, team president Randy Levine said when arguing against the release of the letter Dec. 14, 2020. At the time, the league fined Boston for illegally using the watch to relay signs to players, it said in a press release. The Yankees were levied a smaller fine for improper use of a dugout phone in a prior season.

2015??? We're talking about the Apple Watches still? People are gonna go nuts today just reading headlines, but that's all this is about? Obviously not great, cheating is bad, but I thought this was gonna be bad, bad. People will love that the Yankees are involved here after we made a big fuss about the Astros, but I was under the impression everyone was doing something over the last 5-6 years. The Astros went a step or five further than everyone which is what blew it all sky high. You wanna condemn the Yankees for something little in 2015? Go nuts. I was thinking this was gonna be enough to fire Cashman or get Hal to sell the team. Doesn't appear to be the case, but maybe it's bigger than it seems here who knows. Maybe there is a reason they went out of their way to keep this sealed and it's worse than this article portrays it as. Hey Brett Gardner was on that team in 2015, maybe give him a lifetime ban so he can't come back. All for it.
