There's Beast Mode, And Then There's Whatever This Wes Berg Goal In The NLL Was Last Night
Goodness gracious. Wes Berg is a bad, bad man.
Naturally the finish here is going to get all of the attention since it was grotesque. Going airborne, crease dive, around the world, bottom corner, turn and rake how ya doin.
That was nasty. And what makes it even better is how he has 4 defenders all within a foot of him he couldn't do shit to stop Wes Berg from getting to the rack. They just had the best seat in the house for one of the sickest goals they'll see this year.
But let's talk about how this play all started. Because as sick as the goal was, the beginning of this clip is where Wes Berg proved that he is simply just too much man for anybody on Calgary to handle. Too big, too fast, too strong.
GET OFF ME, LITTLE BOY!
Goes after the loose ball along the wall against two Calgary defenders. Literally has one of them draped over his back. Basically squats that dude off of him like he's just another 45lb plate in the squat rack. Turns on the jets, barrels down to the front of the net, and it's history from there. God that ruled so hard.
