The Proposed Sites For A New Football Stadium In Virginia Are Terrible. Just Terrible.

My god, what a nightmare just looking at that map. I hate driving as it is. I cannot believe the number of people they allow to drive cars, it's madness. It's so fucking dangerous and they pass out a license to anyone with a pulse. And then after you get that license you simply have it until you die. Do you ever really, deeply think about who is on the road? We have teenagers, quite literally the most irresponsible people on the planet, and old people, quite literally the most brain dead people on the planet. I'm 33 and I misplace my keys, but if you're 84 you're allowed to shit your pants in the morning and jump behind the wheel of a 4 wheeled killing machine AT NIGHT. How are there no limits on who can drive at night?! And in the rain?!!? The entire concept baffles me. I'm not a huge government regulation guy, but shit, if they can ban large fountain sodas, they should also be able to stop Great-Grandma Izzy from driving once his glasses get thick enough they could double as a telescope.

So I digress. I guess I could have made my take on driving (I mean SO MANY PEOPLE DIE!!!) its own blog, but the point is the stadium should not be in Woodbridge, or Dale City, or next to the airport. It should be on the RFK plot in DC where everyone can get to it. Everyone in Maryland, everyone in Virginia, and everyone in good ol' DC proper. It's far and away the best spot for the new stadium, but Danny Boy will want to build his spaceship out in the sticks of Virginia. He will come up with this master plan to build shopping malls and playgrounds and movie theaters around the new stadium, and it'll look pretty on paper, and then be an absolute nightmare to get to.

Nothing obviously is done yet, and theres's still hope for DC, but boy those VA locations are BAD BAD. Look at the football on the above map, that's FedEx Field, RIGHT OUTSIDE of DC, and people HATE IT. Now moving the stadium another 30 miles away from the District? Puke. But would not be shocked in the slightest when we're more or less the Dumfries Commanders by this time next year. The Dum Commies. Hopefully the new stadium has a moat. #NeverForget this ridiculous stadium rendering.
