Did The Attitude Era Actually Suck?

Well, no - of course not. The Attitude Era was fucking awesome.

Stone Cold smashing beers and handing out Stunners, D-Generation-X wreaking havoc across the whole landscape, Undertaker and Kane caught in an endless feud, The Rock cutting the most electrifying promos we've ever seen, Mankind becoming the world's greatest underdog, the 24/7 Hardcore Championship, South Park themed signs all over the arena - what's not to love?!

According to NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Matt Cardona (FKA Zack Ryder), the "98ers" are 'what's not to love'. You know, the people who started watching wrestling in 1998 after claiming it was lame their whole lives, and then quit a few years later when it became "not cool" again? Cardona is a bit of a wrestling hipster when it comes to this - he doesn't like that "his thing" blew up and became "everyone's thing" like that. Interesting take I haven't heard before.

Still though, Matt's very excited about the potential of Stone Cold returning at WrestleMania this year....

Not so excited about the Seth Rogen Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, however….

When it comes to where one of his groomsmen, Cody Rhodes, will go next - he just wants his friend to be happy….

When it comes to his former hero, Sean Waltman (AKA X-Pac), though, he doesn't have as many kind things to say….

X-Pac recently returned to the ring for the first time since April 2019 to save Joey Janela from a Major Players attack at the Hammerstein Ballroom….

….and now the match is set and happening tomorrow: Joey Janela/X-Pac vs Matt Cardona/Brian Myers at GCW Heartbreak.

I've got an interview with X-Pac dropping later today as well, so SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel now to be the first to see it!
