DC's New Batman Should Eat Pussy

You may recall that last June, the 'Harley Quinn' writers did an interview with Variety where they revealed that DC put the kibosh on Batman eating out Catwoman in their adult-oriented animated series, as, "Heroes don't do that." according to the higher-ups....

Variety- “Harley Quinn” is also unique among the current crop of comic content in that its main character and all of her closest allies are villains rather than heroes in the DC canon. That allows the show to do different things with the characters that heroes simply cannot do — at least according to DC.

“It’s incredibly gratifying and free to be using characters that are considered villains because you just have so much more leeway,” says Halpern. “A perfect example of that is in this third season of ‘Harley’ [when] we had a moment where Batman was going down on Catwoman. And DC was like, ‘You can’t do that. You absolutely cannot do that.’ They’re like, ‘Heroes don’t do that.’ So, we said, ‘Are you saying heroes are just selfish lovers?’ They were like, ‘No, it’s that we sell consumer toys for heroes. It’s hard to sell a toy if Batman is also going down on someone.’”

As a huge fan of both Batman and pussy, this was heartbreaking news to hear. I never imagined Bruce Wayne as a selfish lover before. The Caped Crusader puts random citizens of Gotham City before himself night-after-night, but he comes first in the bedroom? Something smells fishy there - and it ain't the puss!

Batman's got a pussy-eating window in his cowl for fuck's sake! I digress, though....

James Gunn's 'Peacemaker' on HBO Max made a ton of Aquaman fucking fish jokes over the course of the first season, and even took a few hilarious jabs at the Dark Knight himself….

….which got Clem and I thinking - how long are we gonna have to wait til James Gunn works in a Batman eating pussy joke/reference?

Gunn/Peacemaker definitely kicked down that DC higher-ups wall and loosened em up a bit, right?! Could it have even been made and cut in the finale here?!

Who knows - but I want it now! Whether it be Robert Pattinson's Batman (who will apparently exist in his own universe), or Ben Affleck's Batman - who is making one final appearance in 'The Flash' before Michael Keaton takes over as the full-time Bruce Wayne in the DCEU - or Keaton himself, I think the DCEU's new Batman should be munching on box. I don't need to see him in the act, either, just toss a quick joke in about it. That would represent a great "We have fun now!" changing of the guard for DC.
