Why Are So Many People Making Fun Of Jarrett Allen's Outfit?
I refuse to talk about that abortion of a Slam Dunk Contest we just watched, but I saw this still burning up twitter tonight.
I don't get it. What is so bad about this?
He looks comfortable to me.
Granted, yes he's at the All-Star game in classy as fuck Cleveland, OH, yes. So would it have killed him to throw on a shirt with a collar and a blazer? No.
But I'd take an understated and casual look like this 11 times out of 10 over the clown costumes Russell Westbrook wears on a regular basis.
It's called fashion. You wouldn't understand.
Jarrett Allen just signed a contract for $100 million dollars.
He's fucking rich. And probably will be for life.
You know how I know?
Because he doesn't dress like it.
He's not throwing it in everybody's face which is poor people shit 101.
Haters gonna hate. Slaters gonna slate.

(Fun fact - you know who famously bought several versions of the same, basic outfit to simplify their life? Nope, not Steve Jobs, though he often gets credited with it. It was actually Albert Einstein. Kind of a smart guy. It has been reported that the famous physicist bought several versions of the same grey suit because he didn’t want to waste brainpower on choosing an outfit each morning. Jobs borrowed the concept and several other notable geniuses have as well.)
